I am taking part in an online exhibition called 'Bus Stop Gothic' beginning on 25th June. Organised by the ridiculously talented John Ball, @beware_the_void , it features a total of 8 UK artists that depict urban scenes. The quality of the work is outstanding, I'm honoured to be included!  The poster below shows part of my picture 'Thank God I've Hit The Bottom' of the semi demolished Holly Tree pub on Northdown Road in Cliftonville, Margate. 

So during the lockdown art fairs have been postponed and galleries shut, but I've produced some new drawings which Ive added to the site ('Thank God I've Hit The Bottom', 'We Know The Night' and 'Secrets' on the Contacts page. I've also added a Press page which has the article I had in Artist and Illustrators Magazine, February 2020 issue.

I will be trying to sell some pictures as part of the #artistsupportpledge on Instagram (@patrickwilkinsartuk) so have a look there and let me know if you're interested. In the meantime here's another picture of Salem that I've just finished, its called 'Disappearing'.

I have 6 pictures in a group show at the York Street Gallery in Ramsgate at the moment. The show is along with the gang of us that run and/or help out at the New Kent Gallery in Broadstairs. It's on until the 27th. Poster below.

I have two pictures in the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA) show at the Menier Gallery in London. The pictures are 'Mono' and 'Foolish Handshake'. I was delighted to discover at the Private View this week that 'Foolish Handshake' had won 'Best In Show (Colour)', this was especially rewarding as the standard of the show was very high.  

I have a stand at East Sussex Art Fair at Brighton Racecourse this weekend. Lots of excellent artists there, let me know if you need  ticket. 

I am now an associate member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art. After having tried a few organisations of artists I think this is the one that suits me best, and fortunately I passed their selection process! I will take part in their annual open exhibition (if selected) as I have done in the past, and see how we go from there.

In their April-July edition, the Isle Magazine (for all things Thanet) featured an article on 'Current Thanet Landscape Artists', somehow I got included in this description, along with proper landscape artists like Darren Lewis, Anthony Giles and Karen Hiscock-Lawrence.
