So I had a picture in the Jon Bird Open at the Fishslab Gallery in Whitstable, it was the Indian restaurant picture 'My Little Problem', which is on the same street as the Fishslab! That was a very short show, already finished in fact. In the meantime I got a bit of press coverage in local magazine The Broadie, along with my good friends at the New Kent Gallery, page shown here.  

Post exhibition updates - new pictures added, 'Hide N Seekin', which is also the home page image and 'Good Day Version 4'. I've also added to the captions which pictures have been sold.  

So my first solo exhibition is going to be at the New Kent Art Gallery in Broadstairs from 28th August (Bank Holiday Monday), for 2 weeks (ish), finishing on September 10th. The title of the show is (unsurprisingly) 'Pleased to Meet Me' A lot of new drawings, a lot of local stuff and naturally a lot of lighthouses! Here's the two sides of the flyer, North Foreland lighthouse (again) -   

'Dance To The Fight', a drawing of a statue of Colonel Thomas Cass which is on Boston Common added to Pictures of America .

Added 'Nobody' in Pictures of England, a drawing of Westgate on Sea train station, and 'Favourite Thing' in Pictures of America, a drawing of Eastern Point lighthouse in Gloucester Massachusetts. 

So I have 2 pictures in the Salon Des Refuses Exhibition which is at 3-5 Torrens St, EC1 just by Angel tube (Islington). The pictures are 'Nightclub Jitters' and 'This Machine'. The show is short but it gets a lot of visitors!

Delighted to have won the Presidents' Award at the UKCPS exhibition last night for my picture 'All Shook Down'. Some very good works in the show, so to be singled out was very pleasing. 

The UKCPS (UK Coloured Pencil Society) annual open exhibition starts next week at the Menier Gallery in London (London Bridge tube) and runs until the 6th May. I have 3 pictures in it. Always some very impressive work in this show.

The Artist and Illustrators Magazine 'Artist of the Year' private view is today and the exhibition runs until the weekend at the Mall Gallery in London. I delivered my picture 'Eyes Like Sparks' on Friday. Here is the official invite -
